Welcome to the WMY Studio, a gallery of Traditional Realist Art. My work features museum quality fine art and promotes the traditional classical artwork based on the enduring aesthetic principles of the Old Masters.
I invite you to join me as I present artwork created by the methods, standards, and techniques which produce the highest form of what Traditional Realist art could achieve. My academic methods are the means by which I help to preserve this great tradition for the future. My art reflects my taste, style, and perspective on life. I'm an artist out of step with my time, with a purpose in precious life. I see only the beauty in art, and therefore pass on the passion of my art for all to sense my pleasure. My world directs you to a world of physics, fact, and feelings. My goal as an artist is to record a vision of beauty and perfection in a less than perfect age...
The New Reality: The Frontier of Realism in the 21st Century is the first traveling museum show of this century to not only look at the state of Realism painting around the world, but to also compare those artworks with their historical predecessors. William Yenkevich is one of the featured artists in this traveling museum exhibition.
